Next year Will will be attending the University of California San Diego and San Diego State University’s Joint Doctoral Program in Interdisciplinary Research on Substance Use. He will be funded by a T32 Training grant in topics related to the prevention of HIV and/or related comorbidities among substance using populations. He will be working under the mentorship of Drs. Angela Bazzi, Steffanie Strathdee, and T32 director Natasha Martin.
